What Londji say about themselves:
‘Quality toys made near home; At Londji we cook our games in a slow fire, taking care of every detail, using the best materials, choosing those that don't harm our planet.’
What we think:
Quality indeed. Wonderfully varied and joyful toys, games and puzzles with beautiful illustrations. Londji minimise their ecological footprint with European material sourcing and Spanish production.
It’s unusual to find a business making puzzles and games for children so interested in the material quality of their products. A world away from the usual plastic film coated paper more typical of the genre.
Londji’s guiding principles include honesty, love, and harnessing the power of imagination. Pretty solid foundations for a toy brand we think. You can tell these are much more than vague ideas for Londji. This is a brand with a sense of place and one that puts its money where its mouth is, making beautiful products locally with carefully sourced materials.
A business with a prosocial ethos, Londji tell us their employees work under ‘respectful economic conditions’ and that they collaborate with businesses ‘that promote the integration of people with different abilities and from less favoured social environments’.
Londji was founded in Barcelona in 2004.
